Jackery Explorer 2000 v2
Explorer 2000 v2 (JE-2000D) provides 2,042Wh nominal capacity and 2,200W total 120V AC output in a 17.9kg unit. It suits selected household loads with a recharge plan, but has no verified expansion path and its 20ms EPS is not a 0ms UPS.

Is it right for your household?
Selected 120V household essentials with checked running and startup requirements.
240V loads or loads requiring more than 2,200W continuous output.
More fit considerations
Other situations to consider
- A household wanting substantially more stored energy than compact stations with a handling and placement plan suited to the people moving it.
- A solar setup verified within the unit’s two-port, 400W combined input limits.
Other reasons to choose a different setup
- A backup plan dependent on additional battery packs or zero-interruption UPS transfer.
- Households unable to safely move or stage a roughly 17.9kg power station.

Match the JE-2000D label and U.S. manual
This guide covers Explorer 2000 v2 model JE-2000D: 2,042Wh LiFePO4, 120V/60Hz, 2,200W total rated AC output and 4,400W peak. It is separate from Explorer 2000 Plus and 2000 Pro. A peak rating does not establish that a particular motor or compressor will start.
Choose loads by energy and simultaneous watts
The 2,042Wh capacity is nominal stored energy, while 2,200W constrains simultaneous AC load. List watts and daily hours for each priority appliance, then account for inverter conversion, reserve, temperature and cycling. A refrigerator's starting demand may be well above its running label. The station has no 240V output and no verified battery expansion, so size around the base configuration.
Build solar within two independent input limits
The U.S. documentation specifies two DC8020 solar inputs and up to 400W combined (up to 200W per input), within the model’s voltage/current constraints. The manufacturer does not support panels of different wattages on the two ports, nor simultaneous solar and car charging. Check every panel’s Voc and station input limits, and keep the connectors and wiring matched to the manual.
Do not depend on a 20ms EPS as zero-break backup
Jackery says EPS transfer is within 20ms and explicitly excludes data servers and workstations requiring full UPS behavior. Verify the tolerance of the particular connected device. For any critical equipment, use the equipment maker’s backup guidance and an appropriately designed system rather than inferring suitability from the transfer number.
Account for weight and temperature limits
At about 17.9kg, the station may need a cart or another person for safe movement. Its manual specifies charging at 0–45°C and discharge at -10–45°C. Use manufacturer storage instructions, keep the unit protected and ventilated, and rehearse setup before an outage rather than discovering cable or placement problems under load.
