Manufacturer research Specifications checked 2026-10-25 US model
EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3
DELTA Pro 3 is a 4,096Wh LFP U.S. station rated for 4,000W output. It supports 120V and 240V modes, but EcoFlow says the 120V and high-voltage outlet groups cannot be used simultaneously. At 51.5kg, it is a large backup system that needs a deliberate placement, recharge and electrical-connection plan.

Is it right for your household?
A household comparing higher-output portable storage for selected 120V or compatible 240V loads.
Frequent lifting or carrying by one person; the unit weighs about 51.5kg before accessories.
More fit considerations
Other situations to consider
- Plans that use manufacturer-compatible expansion components and remain within documented input/output limits.
- A fixed or wheeled placement with adequate space, ventilation and safe connection arrangements.
Other reasons to choose a different setup
- A plan needing the low-voltage and high-voltage receptacle banks active together. That bank restriction differs from a supported split-phase connection.
- Home-circuit backup without the manufacturer’s specified transfer equipment, applicable code compliance and qualified electrical installation.

Read the outlet modes, not just the 4,000W headline
EcoFlow lists 4,096Wh LFP capacity, 4,000W rated output and 8,000W surge. The U.S. manual and FAQ clarify that the 120V and high-voltage outlet groups cannot be used simultaneously. The high-voltage bank includes the L14-30R, which supplies 120/240V in split-phase mode; the restriction concerns which receptacle bank is active, not a blanket prohibition on every supported 120/240V system. Confirm the exact outlet and supported connection with the manual and a qualified electrician for house circuits. Surge rating does not establish a particular motor's startup compatibility.
Plan around substantial weight and footprint
The manual lists about 51.5kg and dimensions around 410×342×693mm. Decide where it will live, how it can be positioned, and how to keep ventilation clear before moving or charging it. EcoFlow’s FAQ describes an IP65 battery pack but says the main enclosure and other components are not waterproof; that rating does not make the complete station weatherproof. Keep the main unit and its electrical connections within the manual's environmental conditions.
Check refrigerator timeout and monitor charge
EcoFlow warns that intermittent refrigerator and air-conditioner operation can trigger automatic AC timeout. The manual says to change the timeout setting for those loads and regularly check battery charge when refrigeration is critical. Test the exact appliance in a safe setting; capacity and listed runtime examples do not ensure a fridge will stay cold through a specific outage.
Treat 10ms as a transfer figure, not medical approval
The manufacturer advertises 10ms UPS transfer. This is not zero-ms switching and does not prove compatibility with every device. EcoFlow expressly excludes life-sustaining medical equipment, including med-grade ventilators and hospital-grade CPAP. Use the device manufacturer's backup guidance for anything medically critical.
Use qualified help for house circuits
Connecting a portable station to home circuits requires compatible manufacturer equipment and a correctly designed transfer arrangement. Follow the EcoFlow manual, local electrical rules, and a qualified electrician; never energize house wiring through an improvised cord or receptacle. Expansion batteries change capacity but do not by themselves establish safe circuit compatibility or a complete home backup installation.
